We were the best of friends time ever saw

But when we grew up we didn’t know what to do

And time easily parted us and out friendship flew

People thought everything was off as they saw

But inside our hearts our friendship only grew

Amazing that you loved me and I never knew

Because for me you were a friend that I never hided from, only showed

If you insisted to be my love I would have only left you
